News just went from bad to worse fore the Philadelphia Flyers.

After initial reports suggested that goaltender Michael Neuvirth had suffered a minor groin injury, it was revealed over the week-end that those reports were incorrect.

Flyers insider Tim Panaccio is now reporting that Neuvirth has in fact suffered a "sprained knee" and an official report from the Flyers confirmed that the timeline for his return has now been set at four to six weeks.

It's still unclear if surgery will be required here, general manager Ron Hextall had a long back and forth with reporters this morning but refused to give up any details to the media.
