A lot of times when a team makes a trade to help bolster their roster, the fans of that team just view it as an overwhelming positive. But in the case of trades like the one the Wild made for Sean Bergenheim, where one player is traded for a draft pick, that means there will be an odd man out on the roster. That is unfortunately the case for the Minnesota Wild's Stephane Veilleux, and Friday the team announced Veilleux had been placed on waivers in order to make room on the roster for the team's newest acquisition. The 33 year old Veilleux has played in over 400 games for the Wild, and while the move is very much understandable, it's sad to see a guy who's been so loyal to the franchise get bumped down this way. Veilleux will be sent down to Iowa if he manages to clear waivers, he has two points in the 12 games he played for the Wild this year.
