Notorious bad boy thrown out of the game after getting physical with a referee.

You hate to be too critical of the players you cover, but in this particular case it's starting to get a little hard to feel sorry for the guy.

After a year in 2015 that can only be described as catastrophic, and irreparably damaging to his professional hockey career and public image, notorious bad boy and apparent screw-up magnet Zack Kassian is at it again. This time it was during a game on Sunday in which Kassian got himself in hot water, as opposed to his off the ice antics in 2015, and there's a good chance the NHL may consider stepping in to send a message as a result.

For those who missed it, after a very brief altercation with the Nashville Predators on Sunday, Kassian had a moment of truly genius inspiration and decided to put hands on an NHL official, and was unsurprisingly ejected from the game.
