This just in, the Edmonton Oilers have reportedly acquired forward Nick Bjugstad and defenseman Cam Dineen from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for defenseman Michael Kesselring and a 3rd round pick. In addition, the Coyotes will retain 50% of Bjugstad's $900,000 salary.

The 30 year old Bjugstad is a solid pick up for the Oilers, especially with 50% of his $900,000 salary retained. He has 13 goals and 23 points in 59 games for a dreadful Coyotes franchise who have struggled to score goals this season.

Earlier this week Bjugstad's agent Ben Hankinson took to social media and literally begged NHL GM's to make a trade for Bugstad so that he could be released from his "time out" with the Coyotes. The Coyotes had recently sat him out of the lineup for "trade related reasons" much like they had also done with now departed defenseman Jakob Chychrun.

Well today both Hankinson and Bjugstad get what they want, with Bjugstad moving on to Edmonton.
