Game 1 of the Western Conference Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars has been wild on Wednesday night.
Entering the third period with a two-goal lead at 3-1 for the Oilers, it almost felt inevitable that Connor McDavid plays for the Stanley Cup again.

But then, Edmonton broke down.

The Stars scored three unanswered goals, all on the power-play to take a 4-3 lead in the game with less than 13 minutes to go. The tallies were done by Miro Heiskanen, Mikael Granlund and Matt Duchene in this order, and the crowd at the American Airlines Arena has gone crazy. Then came  the 'Skinner' chants.

Watch the goals, and the Oilers’ breakdown here below:

You won't want to miss the end of the game!

With less than four minutes to go, Tyler Seguin scored the all important insurance goal for a 5-3 lead. Followed by more 'Skinner' chants.

An empty-netter from Esa Lindell was then packed in and the Stars got the 6-3 win for the 1-0 lead in the series.
