A classy move to memorialize these three young men
Three members of the Southern Alberta Mustangs Junior hockey team were killed on Monday in a motor vehicle collision south of Calgary, Alberta.
The team confirmed the news with a post on social media just hours after the horrific crash.

The players were traveling together in a single vehicle when they were involved in the fatal crash.
Global News has confirmed the identities of the three players killed in the horrific accident:
Tonight, the Oilers held a moment of silence for the three young men prior to their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Yesterday Miranda Chrisp, the mother of JJ Wright's girlfriend Phoenix Miller, posted a heartbreaking message seeking advice on how to mend her daughter's broken heart.
Read below:
How do I possibly mend my baby girl’s heart after losing her love?
Our hearts are broken.
JJ was such a sweet boy with a whole life a head of him.
This world can seem incredibly unfair at times.
JJ had been away in Alberta chasing his dream, playing hockey, doing what he loved. My family has been so incredibly proud of that boy.
But beyond our pride of the incredible hockey player he was, he was also the person who held our daughter’s heart.
JJ truly brought out the best in her.
I will forever hold onto the sound of him and Phoenix laughing, staying up way too late talking on the phone, countless trips to her room telling them to shut it down, and be quiet and go to bed. She had school and he had hockey.
Us parents made the kids make an agreement before he left that they would not stay up talking past 11pm.
They never listened.
And JJ had such a deep loud voice and his laughter was contagious and even though Phoenixs volume was turned down we could always hear him talking and laughing.
I am going to miss hearing it.
I’ll also always remember all the “just because” flowers he always seemed to surprise Phoenix with and just the way he made my girl feel so loved.
This is a tough loss for our family and so incredibly hard for Phoenix.
But we will be forever grateful for all the love JJ gave to our her and for all the joy he filled all of our lives with.
He had a tough skin having to deal with Phoenixs crazy mom lol! But he won me over pretty quickly. He was always so polite and respectful when he was in my home, or when we were together.
JJ was a great kid! My mind was always at ease when I knew him and Phoenix were together.
So today was heavy, but we will always honour JJ by remembering all the light he brought into our home and into our sweet girls world.
Thank you, JJ, for loving my daughter so beautifully.
You are going to be deeply missed around here.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Please watch over my girl.
RIP JJ Wright. He was just 19 years old.
