Oilers insider hints at big change coming to the team... tomorrow.

The Edmonton Oilers may have an internal shakeup coming in the very near future.

On Saturday, Oilers radio analyst Bob Stauffer made some very interesting comments about the team that he works for. Stauffer, who is known for being extremely well connected when it comes to information within the Oilers organization, flat out stated that there were changes that would be coming and that they would be coming very, very soon.

"What's true today may not be true tomorrow," began Stauffer. "Speaking of tomorrow, don't be surprised if there's a little bit of movement internally within the Oilers organization."

Now those comments certainly piqued my curiosity and while I initially assumed that Stauffer was likely discussing a trade, my assumption was quickly proven wrong when Stauffer made separate comments about the possibility of a trade.

"Externally in terms of a trade, it might come closer to the actual deadline," said Stauffer.

This second comment suggests that Stauffer was speaking about a different kind of change, and that certainly has piqued the curiosity of a lot of fans in the City of Edmonton. Oilers management has come under fire for failing to build a more successful team around Oilers captain Connor McDavid and you have to wonder what kind of changes may be coming 'tomorrow' as Stauffer has suggested.
