The Edmonton Oilers have announced that they've hired former NCAA player and NWHL (National Women's Hockey League) founder Dani Rylan Kearney as a regional scout.

Again, Rylan founded and ran the NWHL from 2015 until 2020. The league, which rebranded as PHF (Premier Hockey Federation) and ceased operations this past summer when it merged with the Professional Women's Hockey Players Assocation (PWHL) to form the brand new Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).
