The Edmonton Oilers are making a late substitution ahead of facing the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening.
According to an official announcement from the Oilers, head coach Dave Tippett has put veteran forward Markus Granlund into the line up this evening and will be putting forward Joakim Nygard in the press box this evening. It is unclear at this time why Tippett has made this change but the 26 year old Swedish winger will be sidelined this evening in favor of Granlund who has significantly more experience at the NHL Level.
