Oilers officially re-sign Evan Bouchard to $7.8 million deal

This just in, the Edmonton Oilers have officially re-signed defenseman Evan Bouchard to a two year deal worth $3.9 million per season.

It was reported earlier this week that Bouchard was set to sign a deal worth just $3.3 million per season, the official contract puts the Oilers approximately $400,000 over the NHL's salary cap. More to come.
