This just in, the Edmonton Oilers have signed 2024 1st round selection (32nd overall) Sam O'Reilly to a three year, entry-level contract worth.

The 18 year old O'Reilly will remain with the OHL's London Knights and re-join the Oilers next season for training camp. The native of Toronto, Ontario has two goals and five points through seven games with the Knights this season, following a 20 goal, 56 point performance in 68 games last season. O'Reilly and the Knights won the OHL's J. Ross Robertson Cup and represented the league at the 2024 Memorial Cup, losing in the final to the host Saginaw Spirit.
