Oilers star will miss tonight's game due to injury.

According to a report from Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News, the Edmonton Oilers will be without their star player for the second straight game this evening. Taylor Hall's bone bruise seems to be causing him some serious discomfort and given the position the Oilers find themselvesi n this season they are likely taking a safety first approach with Hall. Hall is currently tied for the Oilers point lead, and honestly having him out tonight during the league's Basement Bowl might not be a bad thing. There's no longer any doubt that losing, and losing as much as possible is in the team's best interest long term. Nelson confirmed Hall's absence, no word yet on when the team expects him to return to action.
