A good sign for the Canadiens?

Montreal Canadiens management may have yet another move planned for this offseason.

According to a report from Dans Les Coulisses, a French language blog covering the Montreal Canadiens, free agent forward Jiri Hudler was spotted in the city today. There were no reports of a meeting with the Canadiens so the purpose of his time in Montreal is as of this time unknown.

While Hudler is in later stages of his NHL career at 32 years old, he showed in limited time with the Panthers last season that he could still be a real contributor putting up 11 points in the 19 regular season games he appeared in after the trade from Calgary.

Could Habs general manager Marc Bergevin see Hudler as part of his all in strategy for a championship?
