Movement on the wire today.
22 players were placed on waivers on Tuesday and, at the 2PMET deadline today, we found out that forward Tyson Jost has been claimed by the Nashville Predators from the Carolina Hurricanes.
Jost was one of five players the Hurricanes put on waivers yesterday.
The 27-year-old has just re-signed with the Canes this past July on a one-year contract. It came after he split time between Carolina and the Chicago Wolves, the Canes’ top farm club during the 2024-25 season.
In 39 games with Carolina, he scored four goals and five assists for nine points. Jost had the exact same stat line in 14 games with the Wolves.
In 495 NHL contests, which include stops wth the Buffalo Sabres and Colorado Avalanche , Jost has scored 61 goals and 88 assists for 149 points, with 10 points coming in 46 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
