And a full cancellation of the Olympics.

This just in, the Ontario government is reducing capacity at arena venues to just 50%.
This, of course, means that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators will be limited to half capacity for at least the next three weeks, while the province struggles to get the latest strain of COVID-19 under control.
Call me crazy, call me a conspiracy nut all you like but... I really don't understand these restrictions. Don't you have to provide proof of vaccination to get into a Leafs or Sens game anyways? If the vaccine is so effective at helping to stop the spread of COVID-19, then why create a mandate? Again... I'm at a loss in trying to make sense of all these rules.
Meanwhile, TSN reporter Rick Westhead reports that one of the Doctors responsible for making the decision is also calling for a full pause of the entire NHL season and is predicting the league will pull out of the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.
