Outraged fans call for team rebuild!

The Detroit Red Wings did not manage to hold on to their lead, and blew it in the third period against the Boston Bruins and fell 3-2 in overtime last night.

Boston got a 2-on-1 after Detroit forward Gustav Nyquist fell in the Bruins zone, and Brad Marchand waited before flipping a backhand past Jimmy Howard.

And that goal hurt, and pushed fans to request a team rebuild now! The Wings currently sit in 27th place in the League with an 11-13-7 record. Many rumors were heard lately that head coach Jeff Blashill could be fired, but so far, nothing has been done.

Now fans took on social media to demand that the team starts to rebuild this season. With players like Nyquist, Mike Green and Howard, GM Ken Holland could get interesting prospects and picks in return to ensure a better future in HockeyTown.
