On Friday afternoon, The Sequel Cafe tweeted out that they saw Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin giving his coat and hat to a homeless man in downtown Edmonton.
The Caps are facing the Oilers tonight, and Ovechkin has the best highlight so far.
Other sources say that Ovi also went on to buy a jacket and shirt for the man, who did not recognize the star player at all.
You may hate him on the ice, Edmonton, but Ovechkin is loved on the streets now!
