In case you missed it, Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price made the save of the season in the dying moments of last night’s game against the Washington Capitals and it came off the stick of none other than Caps sniper Alexander Ovechkin.

First, let’s set the scene: During a frenetic 4-4 game in which both teams had MULTIPLE chances to put the game away late, Ovechkin received a one timer pass from Tom Wilson RIGHT in his wheelhouse and with less than a second left on the clock, Ovechkin HAMMERED a hard slap shot that Price somehow, SOMEWAY managed to get across and get a piece of with his blocker.

Check it out:

What a save! That's so nice it deserves another look:

Notice Ovi applauding the save and then giving Price a little high-five at the end? Perfect. This is what hockey is all about. Great recognize great.
