In an afternoon special in Boston, the Bruins are facing the Capitals in what could possibly be a preview of the Conference finals. It's a tough, gritty game and guys need to keep their heads up.
In a dangerous sequence, Capitals' superstar Alexander Ovechkin dangerously boarded rookie Brandon Carlo.
Ovechkin obviously felt bad about the sequence and went back immediately to appologize. However, Carlo was left shaken and excuses didn't really helped at that point. He left the game injured and his status is still unclear.
Surprisingly, Ovechkin didn't even receive a 2 minutes minor for the hit. It appears like his apologies were enough!
