Over 60 NHL players hit waivers on Sunday.

The NHL season is right around the corner and that means that teams are making their final roster decisions before things officially get underway. That means that over the last several days the league has seen a large number of players sent to waivers as teams put the finishing touches on their roster, and make decisions that are often motivated by the NHL's salary cap.

While that has been the case for the last several days now, nothing has come close to the gigantic day of waiver activity we saw on Sunday with over 60 NHL players sent to waivers in a single day. There are of course a number of notable names on a list this big but there are simply too many to list out individually, so today we're bringing you the full list of waivers courtesy of NHL insider Chris Johnston.

Of course the real interesting part of this will come on Monday, when we learn which of these players have been claimed by rival teams.
