The question is... can they now "un-leak" it?

The logo is the most uninspired thing I've ever seen and the colors are... meh.
This entire look is just bland and safe. Which might be the entire point.
One Redditor points out the fact that the new look matches the style and color of the Lightning's parent company Blue Owl Capital.

A bunch of corporate stooges rebranding an NHL team to match their logo. Disgusting.
Honestly, this sort of stuff makes me nervous where our sport is headed. We already have corporate logos on NHL jerseys. How long until a team is rebranded entirely to match the corporate interests of their owners? The Toronto Rogers Leafs coming in 2026?
