Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban made a ton of headlines when he guaranteed that his team would win Game 3 of the Stanely Cup Final after going down 2-0 in the series to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Upon arriving back in Nashville Subban was once again asked about the guarantee he had made earlier, and in typical Subban fashion he showed nothing but complete confidence in the face of pressure.
"I feel even more confident now that I've had a night of rest," Predators defenseman P.K. Subban said. "There's no question. We're going to win the next game, and then we'll move forward."
There may be a reason he's so confident as well as Subban is no stranger to guaranteeing wins for his team, although the last time he made such a gurantee was as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
That was before Game 6 of a playoff series against the Canadiens most bitter rival, the Boston Bruins, and it was a game the Canadiens went on to dominate in a 4-0 victory.
