Panthers announce life-changing news for Matthew Tkachuk

The Florida Panthers travelled to Montreal this morning to take on the Montreal Canadiens this evening, but superstar forward Matthew Tkachuk did not join the team for the trip.

Tkachuk and his wife Ellie Connell are expecting their first child imminently and Tkachuk made the decision to remain in Florida with his wife.

Congrats to Matthew, Ellie and their new bundle.
