The Panthers are furious with the NHL's referees after a goaltender interference review from Toronto.
The Florida Panthers are not happy with the National Hockey League.
It was obvious the moment the call came down, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice went ballistic behind the Panthers bench when he realized that the NHL officials in Toronto had determined, upon video review, that there had been no interference against Panthers goaltender Daniil Tarasov.
The video evidence appeared to show that Tarasov's glove had indeed been moved by the stick of Buffalo Sabres defenseman Mattias Samuelsson, but in spite of that the call did not go in favor of the Panthers.
You can see both the replay and Maurice's explosion behind the bench in the short clip below:

The reaction from Maurice was one thing however while the comments that came from Tarasov after the game are another matter entirely. The frustrated Panthers goaltender went so far as to accuse the NHL officials based in Toronto, where the video reviews are conducted, of showing bias against the Panthers because of their recent history against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
"I don’t know what they’re smoking," said Tarasov.
Florida Panthers G Daniil Tarasov on not getting the interference: ‘I don’t know what they’re smoking.’ Said officials in Toronto must be mad Florida beat the Leafs last night.

The NHL doesn't take well to criticism of its officials and it will be interesting to see if either Tarasov or the Panthers hear from the league over these comments. The frustration from Tarasov is understandable, this would prove to be a determining factor in the outcome of the game with the Sabres claiming a 3-2 victory over the Panthers.
