Last night was a evening that the Edmonton Oilers and their fanbase would like to forget.

The Oilers dropped Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers in a 6-1 blowout game full of penalties. The Oilers were taking out their frustrations on the Panthers all night, which worked in favor of the Panthers for the most part.

It was a circus atmosphere inside Florida's Amerant Bank Arena all evening with fans chanting loudly, throwing plastic rats on the ice and pouring beer on Oilers players.

Check out Oilers forward Kasperi Kapanen receiving a full Budweiser shower while heading off the ice

That's gotta be $12 worth of beer right there... that's commitment, if nothing else.

The wheels have completely fallen off for the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

With the score 5-1 midway through the third period and with a 2-1 Florida Panthers series lead all but secured, you can't blame the Oilers for feeling some frustration. Oilers forward Trent Frederic let out his frustration on Panthers forward Sam Bennett and that's when all Hell broke loose in Sunrise, Florida.

Check out this sequence where seemingly everyone on the ice ended up pairing off, leading to a notable tilt between Darnell Nurse and Jonah Gadjovich.

Old time hockey, indeed!

NHL referee Francis Charron may as well be credited with an assist this evening for the play he made on Edmonton Oilers defenseman John Klingberg this evening.

With Klingberg trying to break up the boards in his own end, Charron collided with him causing a turnover that lead directly to a pivotal goal by Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart.

Yeesh... tough to win a hockey game when you have to play not only the Panthers, but the referees as well.

Things are getting spicy in Game 3!

With the Florida Panthers up 2-0 on the Edmonton Oilers in the closing seconds of the 1st period of Game 3 this evening, tempers began to flare.

After Panthers forward Anton Lundell laid a sucker punch on Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard, a scrum broke out between both teams and Matthew Tkachuk absolutely SCRAMBLED to get away from an angry Evander Kane.

Watch Tkachuk literally run away from Kane to the waiting arms of an official while Kane tries his best to instigate a fight.

Panthers forward Jonah Gadjovich also wanted no part of Corey Perry and Perry let him know exactly which amphibian he resembles:

Old time hockey, baby!
