Panthers make several changes to lineup ahead of Game 6

Here is the lineup for Florida in attempts to eliminate the Bruins from the postseason:

After the morning skate on Friday, Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice confirmed that he had made more than one change to his lineup for Game 6 against the Bruins in Boston in their second round series.

Maurice revealed that both forwards Steven Lorentz and Kyle Okposo will be out of action, and Nick Cousins and Ryan Lomberg are inserted back into the lineup.

Okposo and Lorentz did fill in for Sam Reinhart and Sam Bennett, who did not practice on Friday, but they are expected to be in tonight’s lineup in Boston.

Lomberg hasn’t played since Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round series, whike Cousins last played in Game 2 against the Bruins.

Here are Florida’s projected lines and pairings for Game 6 against Boston:

Vladimir Tarasenko – Sasha Barkov – Sam Reinhart
Carter Verhaeghe – Sam Bennett – Matthew Tkachuk
Eetu Luostarinen – Anton Lundell – Evan Rodrigues
Ryan Lomberg – Kevin Stenlund – Nick Cousins

Gus Forsling – Aaron Ekblad
Niko Mikkola – Brandon Montour
Oliver Ekman-Larsson – Dmitry Kulikov

The Panthers hold a 3-2 series lead and could put an end to Boston’s playoff run tonight. However, you know the Bruins will do all they can to stave off elimination again and force a decisive seventh game back in Florida.
