Panthers take brutal shot at Bruins right after tonight’s elimination!
Ouch.
The Boston Bruins’ 2023-24 season is over as they have just been elimination from the postseason in the second round at the hands of the Florida Panthers in six games.
In a tight and intense matchup, the Panthers came out on top, 2-1, despite the Bruins being to count on captain Brad Marchand, who was back in the lineup after missing both Games 4 and 5 with an upper-body injury.
Marchand has often been called a rat around the league, and his grit was certainly missing from the Bruins’ roster, but the battle came down to goaltending with Sergei Bobrovsky barely getting the best of Jeremy Swayman.
However, the Panthers’ social media team got the last and most brutal shot, when right after the Bruins’ elimination in front of their local fans, they posted a publication to annonce their club’s victory with the tag line: Our rats are better.”
Wow. We know that it refers to the home fans partying with plastic rats after a win in Florida, but the call, hinted at Marchand is rough.

The crowd in Florida must be thrilled to have the Eastern conference Final come their way against the New York Rangers. Their rats will be ready, no doubt.
