They are ruthless and relentless. Watch the video below:
It all started on Tuesday night and has only gotten worse since. After repeating as Stanley Cup champions by beating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the final, the Florida Panthers immediately started on the ice with players and executives reuniting with their families before heading back to the dressing room for some beers and champagne.
Once in the room, the champions decided to play the song Pink Pony Club, the winning anthem for the Oilers during the postseason. Edmonton would always play the hit song by Chappel Roan after playoff wins, but this time, the Panthers made it their own.
The Rat Pack at its best. And it did not stop there. On Thursday, as the Panthers players got together for a wild Stanley Cup party, videos emerged on social media of them once again taking a shot at the Oilers, dancing and signing to their winning anthem. Videos have since gone viral with star forward Matthew Tkachuk singing and dancing Pink Pony Club while mocking the Oilers.
Not only did the Oilers lose the championship to the Panthers, they also lost their song to them…
Here are some more videos of what seemed to be a crazy Stanley Cup party in Florida:
