Paparazzi follows Craig Berube, Brad Treliving and Brendan Shanahan in Toronto restaurant
More details here:
The Toronto Maple Leafs formally introduced new head coach Craig Berube during a news conference on Tuesday. After meeting with “upward of nine individuals” about Toronto’s head coaching vacancy, general manager Brad Treliving chose Berube, who spoke about accountability and communication as key elements for building success in the coming seasons.
“Ultimately, character matters. It matters with your team, and it matters with your head coach,” Treliving said on Tuesday.
Once the press conference was over, questions still lingered on what roster Berube will have to play with, seeing that many trade rumours have erupted in Toronto, involving star players like Mitch Marner, John Tavares and Morgan Rielly, to name a few.
This might be what prompted one paparazzi in following Berube, Treliving and president and alternate governor Brendan Shanahan to a restaurant in Toronto, snapping a few pictures of the trio.
While the post does not reveal what the three men spoke about, we can all agree that the Maple Leafs, their future and what needs to be done was at the center of this discussion.
After all, Treliving himself said it earlier this month when speaking about the busy offseason ahead:
“When you go through a season as we have, everything must be on the table. Everything needs to be looked at. Everything needs to be considered.”
And I bet all of that was spoken about and discussed at that restaurant’s table last night.
