For fans of the Boston Bruins it may be troubling that forward David Pastrnak has yet to sign a new deal coming off his monster 70 point season, but the player himself doesn't seem to be worried at all about the process.

During the European Player Media Tour on Thursday Pastrnak was asked about the ongoing negotiations between his camp and Bruins general manager Don Sweeney, and he made it clear it's barely on his mind at all.

"I'm just waiting, leaving it all to my agent (J.P. Barry) to communicate with them," said Pastrnak as per NHL.com. "I'm just focusing on getting ready for next season.

"I'm focusing on getting better and I'm trying not to think about that stuff. I just let it go and something will happen."

Pastrnak was just one of 26 players in the National Hockey League to break the 30 goal mark last season, recording 34 for the Bruins while adding an additional 36 assists, and there's little doubt that has skyrocketed his value.

The Bruins and Sweeney are now faced with a tough decision, should Pastrnak continue to produce at this pace a short-term deal would only drive up the cost in the long run, however a big deal now runs the risk of rewarding Pastrnak for a season that was by the far the best of his three seasons in Boston, and a season that he may not be able to repeat.
