This just in, the Tampa Bay Lightning have signed retired NHLer and three time Stanley Cup champion Patrick Maroon as an Alumni Relations Brand Ambassador.

The 37 year old retired this past April as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks after a 14 year NHL career that also saw him suit up for the Boston Bruins, Minnesota Wild, Tampa Bay Lightning, St. Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils, Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks. He won back to back to back Stanley Cup championships from 2019 through 2021 with the Blues and then the Lightning.

A popular teammate and a fan favorite at every stop in his career, I can't think of a better player as a Brand Ambassador for an NHL team. I have no doubt that Maroon will be out in the public, greeting fans with a smiling face and his 'aw shucks' attitude. Great signing for TBay!
