Kane had some cool plans for his day with the Cup, but he had to cancel them.
Chicago Blackhawks superstar Patrick Kane is currently under a police investigation over an alleged sexual assault that would have occurred at his home last weekend. To defend himself, Kane has hired lawyer Paul Cambria.
The latter confirmed via text message that he is indeed Kane's representative. He also represented Kane back in 2009 when he was implicated in a noncriminal charge of disorderly conduct after he was accused of assaulting a Buffalo cab driver over 20 cents.
Cambria is a well known agent who has in the past represented artists Marilyn Manson and DMX according to TSN.
Kane still gets to have his day with the Stanley Cup despite of the accusations against him.
The 26-year-old originally had plans to take the Cup to Buffalo women's and Children's hospital and to his favorite pizza place in his old neighbourhood. Thos plans failed through though because of his current situation.
Kane is still spending the day with the most precious trophy in hockey, but he has to do it privately with his close ones.
