It's going to be an extremely anticipated debut tomorrow night at Little Caesars Arena, as Patrick Kane will officially be debuting with the Detroit Red Wings.
In the words of head coach Derek Lalonde, the Red Wings are going to be careful in how they utilize him in his first game since May 1.
"We'll be smart in how we use him," Lalonde said. "I don't know if he's ready for a regular shift. I think we'll probably monitor it. We'll have a target, minute-wise, on what we want to do with him, but we'll get a feel. He feels really good, body-wise, but he's joining us at a time where we have a slew of games. We haven't been able to practice as much as we would have liked."
Detroit takes on the San Jose Sharks starting at 7:00 PM EST.
