Patrik Laine lands new suitor as major roadblock threatens potential deal

A deal, however, does not appear to be imminent. The same report indicates that Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek wants to resolve the complicated contract situation involving Cutter Gauthier before turning his full attention to any agreement with Laine.
