This one is definitely going to stir the pot.

For quite some time now fans and pundits alike have speculated about the possibility of a Hughes brother's reunion in the National Hockey League, with many appearing to believe that Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes, New Jersey Devils star forward Jack Hughes and Devils defenseman Luke Hughes are all planning to play on the same team at some point in the future.

While that has remained nothing more than rumor and speculation, this past week a former NHL player turned analyst added some serious fuel to the fire when he revealed that his sources were all pointing to the same team. During a recent episode of the Spittin Chiclets podcast, former NHL forward Paul Bissonnette was conducting an interview with Sean Avery when he dropped a huge nugget of information regarding the future of the Hughes brothers.

According to Bissonnette, the New York Rangers are the likely destination for the trio.

"I wouldn't worry too much, from my understanding they are gonna be getting the Hughes brothers," said Bissonnette on the Spittin Chiclets podcast. "So I wouldn't concern myself too much with the Rangers, that's just what I'm hearing."

Avery had been lamenting the current state of the Rangers roster at the time that Bissonnette interjected with this comment, offering up the information from his sources entirely unprompted.

Of course acquiring all 3 of the Hughes brothers would be a lot easier said than done when you consider the fact that that Quinn Hughes has 2 more years remaining on his deal, Jack Hughes has 5 more years remaining on his deal and Luke Hughes is a restricted free agent who is rumored to be discussing an 8 year contract with the New Jersey Devils as we speak.

There's no doubt that this would drastically alter the fortunes of any franchise however, and according to Bissonnette the Rangers are the team to watch.
