What the heck is happening in the Panthers’ dressing room?!

Fans will get another chance to see what’s happening behind the scenes of many NHL teams thanks to a second season of “Faceoff: Inside the NHL.” The defending Stanley Cup champions Florida Panthers are featured once again in the documentary series, but they are revealing way more than we could have imagined.

In one episode, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice can be seen walking through a side room off the dressing room during the Stanley Cup Final, only to stumble into a naked Brad Marchand.

His reaction was caught on tape and is priceless: “That’ll f*ck you up for a couple months.”

The interaction is hilarious and shows how close the Panthers’ players and staff are, which probably explains why they are back to back champions.

Marchand, who was traded to Florida at the trade deadline back in March by the Boston Bruins, was an instrumental part of the Cats’ championship success. He recorded 10 goals, 10 assists, and a +17 rating in 23 games, including six tallies in the Stanley Cup Final, becoming the first player in NHL history to score an overtime goal and an opening-minute goal in consecutive games of the Final, and tying for the 10th most career playoff game-winning goals.

If traumatizing your head coach by showing up naked in front of him gives you this kind of success, I’m sure Marchand would do it again, and Maurice would not mind.
