Fans in Nashville are probably kneeling and praying before their Pekka Rinne shrines this evening.

It looked like the Chicago Blackhawks were going to be gifted a goal to open the scoring in Game 3 of the first round playoff series between the Blackhawks and Nashville Predators, but Rinne had other ideas.

Despite being well out of position, behind his net in fact, when the puck took a wicked and hard bounce directly towards his empty net, Rinne somehow managed to dive, extend, and make the save from behind his own net.

It didn't come on any kind of spectacular shot, or beautiful passing play, but there's no doubt that this was one of the best saves of the playoffs, and perhaps a game changer for the Predators.
