Penguins acquire former 1st round selection in trade with Blue Jackets

This just in, the Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly acquired 24 year old forward Yegor Chinakhov from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for draft picks.

The 24 year old Chinakhov has just three goals and six points in 29 games with the Blue Jackets this season and has struggled to stay in the team's lineup over the course of his four year NHL career. Selected in the 1st round (21st overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft, Chinakhov has yet to play a full NHL season.
