The Penguins have revealed their roster for tonight's big game.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are going to have a huge game tonight, yes a huge game in spite of the fact that we are still only in the National Hockey League's preseason.
That is due entirely to the fact that beloved former Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will be making his return to the Penguins for the first time since the 2016-17 NHL regular season. Fleury is of course not under an NHL contract with the Penguins, having retired as a member of the Minnesota Wild last season, but has instead signed a professional tryout offer that will let him have one final game with his former team and former teammates.
As you might have expected, all of those former teammates will be featured in tonight's preseason game with several of the Penguins stars included in today's lineup. Not only does it make sense that they would want the chance to be on the ice for what is expected to be Fleury's final game, but they also likely want to ensure that Fleury will get a positive result tonight as well.
The Penguins have now officially announced who will play tonight, with the full list just below:
Forwards:
Filip Hallander
Boko Imama
Justin Brazeau
Bryan Rust
Tristan Broz
Anthony Mantha

Defensemen:

There still has been no official word regarding when Fleury will be playing tonight, with the expectation being that he will only play in a single period, but that hasn't done anything to stifle the excitement around tonight's game.
The game will be live at 7 pm Eastern with the Penguins facing off against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
