Some men would simply be satisfied with their position, especially after winning a Stanley Cup, but not former National Hockey League head coach Jacques Martin.

According to a report from Ian Mendes of TSN's 1200 radio, the former head coach informed him when asked that he would in fact like another crack at a head coaching job in the big leagues, a surprising admission when you consider his recent success as an assistant under Mike Sullivan.

"I'd love to get another opportunity," said Martin. "I've grown from my last stint in Montreal."

With a number of team's concluding their coaching searches prior to the 2016 NHL draft, it's unlikely that Martin gets a call anytime soon, but with the 2016 Stanley Cup now added to his resume he may be be a consideration for some teams moving forward.
