Penguins get involved in Toronto-Boston massive trade!

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired defenseman Conor Timmins and winger Connor Dewar from the Toronto Maple Leafs in return for a fifth round pick in 2025.
The move comes along with the trade that sent Bruins blue liner Brandon Carlo to the Maple Leafs. Boston is getting Toronto’s first round pick along with top prospect Fraser Minten.
The Penguins are parting with a late-round draft pick to take Conor Timmins and Connor Dewar from Toronto, seeing the Maple Leafs needed to clear salary.
Timmins is currently playing in his sixth season and with his third team. In 142 games he has 39 points on five goals and 34 assists. He is a career +12, he has 154 blocked shots and 122 hits. This season in 51 games he has eight points on two goals and six assists. He is a plus-two with 77 blocked shots and 40 hits.
Dewar has taken part in 221 career games has 46 points on 19 goals and 27 assists. He is a -20 with a 45.2 faceoff percentage. This season in 31 games he has three assists. He is a minus-three with a 43.0 faceoff percentage.
