Penguins surprise everyone with brand new jerseys in home opener

The Los Angeles Kings surprised hockey fans everywhere by debuting their brand new third jerseys in their home opener on Tuesday night and tonight the Pittsburgh Penguins have done the same thing.

After taking warmup in their traditional black home jerseys, the Penguins re-emerged for game time wearing brand new yellow jerseys.

What's most surprising to me, honestly, is the fact that the team was able to keep things under wraps so well. It's pretty rare in this day and age to not have something like this leaked online prior to official debut. Well done, Pens marketing. Well done.
