Penguins trade Anthony Beauvillier to close rival!
🚨 TRADE ALERT! Details down below:
The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly struck a deal with none other than the Washington Capitals.
According to Elliotte Fridman, the Penguins are trading forward Anthony Beauvillier to the Caps. The Penguins are getting a second round pick in 2025, per Nick Kypreos.Â
Beauvillier now moves to his sixth team in the past three years.
Pittsburgh offer him a one-year, $1.25MM contract last offseason, and he’s played in every game this season aside from a healthy scratch back in January.
The 27-year-old player has 13-7–20 in 63 contests, including a minus-one rating and 120 shots on goal while averaging an even 13 minutes per game.
