With so many players injured, including forwards Matt Cullen, Carl Hagelin and Patric Hornqvist, the Pittsburgh organization is in trouble. Granted, it doesn't really affect their performance, but you can't lose 8 regular players so close to the playoffs without biting a few nails along the way.

Anyhow, the team announced they have recalled forward Josh Archibald from the Wikes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

The 5'10'', 176lbs forward is known for his impressive speed and willingness to battle in front of the net. He will fit nicely on the right wing and add some punch to the 3rd or 4th line.

In 57 games this year, he earned 27 points of which 14 were goals. He played 3 games with the Penguins in his careers, scoring 2 goals along the way. Interestingly, he's a +26 on the +/- rating, making him an interesting shutdown forward.

Good luck Josh!
