Off the top of my head this might be the best hip check of this National Hockey League season, and it probably should be considered among the best hits of the season overall.

Florida Panthers defenseman Steven Kampfer took Toronto Maple Leaf Frank Corrado for a ride on Monday night when his picture perfect hip check sent Corrado flipping through the air in textbook fashion.

During the games third period Corrado made the mistake of carrying the puck over the blue line while Kampfer was lining him up, the end result was Kampfer cutting him off and delivering the hip check much to the delight of everyone watching the play, Leaf fans included.

They honestly don't get much prettier than this.
