Pietrangelo warns the Golden Knights are bringing 'extra juice' for Game 6.

Las Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo admits he is extra motivated for tonight's big game.

Fresh off a suspension for a slash that he delivered to Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl, Las Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo seems determined to extract a measure of revenge on Sunday night.

On Saturday, Pietrangelo spoke of being targeted in malicious fashion by the Oilers' players during the course of this series and the veteran defenseman seemed quite irritated as he spoke of being on the receiving end of those cheap shots. In something of a natural follow up question to those comments, Pietrangelo was asked if that frustration would result in him bringing any 'extra juice' to Game 6 on Sunday night.

"Oh yeah," said Pietrangelo on Saturday. "Absolutely."

Pietrangelo believes the same can be said for his teammates who seem to have also taken issue with some of the liberties they believe the Oilers have taken throughout this series.

"I'm sure the rest of the guys do too right?" said Pietrangelo. "We're a tight group in there, we've got each others back."

This has already been a physicals series with both teams showing a willingness to engage in battles both during the course of play and at times beyond the whistle. If Pietrangelo is to be taken at his word, it sounds like the Golden Knights intend to step that up a notch in tonight's Game 6.
