In case you missed it last night, Toronto Maple Leafs players were pelted with garbage by New Jersey Devils fans last night after the Devils has a third goal called back by video review.

Check it out:

Great idea, bozos... slow down play by throwing your $25 beer on the ice. Real smart...

Just like this next clown from the Colorado Avalanche faithful who pelted Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson with a bag on candy yesterday evening.

Check it out:

Are you kidding me?!

What was going around the NHL last night?

As luck would have it, both the Devils and the Avs would go on to lose the game. For the Canucks it's a huge W over the defending Stanley Cup champions and for the Leafs it's a huge W over a team with a ridiculous 13 game win streak. Both W's any way you look at it.

Following the Leafs' win, players like John Tavares and Mitch Marner did not hold back when asked about the garbage throwing, with both of them condemning fans for irresponsible behaviour.

Check it out:

Way to go, Devils fans... not only do you look foolish, but you also gave your opponents some extra juice. Great job all around...
