The Edmonton Oilers earned themselves a tidy 5-1 victory over the Nashville Predators this Halloween evening.

The Oilers really came together with a great bounce back game following their dreadful 6-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday evening. They played as a complete unit, but superstar Leon Draisaitl led the way offensively. Draisaitl had two goals and an assist, helping lead his team to a fairly easy victory in the Music City.

The Predators didn't really have an answer for the Oilers this evening, but there was a moment in the game where they gave a little push back. Predators defenseman Jeremy Lauzon attempted to put a spark into his team by picking a fight with Oilers forward Vasili Podkolzin... but... well... let's just say that Lauzon probably regrets his decision.

Podkolzin absolutely DROPPED Lauzon with a hard right, cutting him on the cheek and sending him out of the game for repairs.
