Police called after bench clearing brawl this weekend.
All hell breaks loose on the ice during a game between Plessisville and Donnacona, resulting in Police intervention.
Police were forced to intervene over the weekend after a Senior AAA game in Quebec got wildly out of control.
A fan recording of the game has made the rounds on social media after a game between teams from Plessisville, Quebec and Donnacona, Quebec degenerated into a bench clearing brawl that involved dozens of players. Even the goaltenders would get involved in this one, as total mayhem descended on Léo-Paul-Boutin arena in Plessisville.
La Sûreté du Québec, Quebec's provincial police force, confirmed that by the time they arrived on scene the altercation between the two teams had already ended. It doesn't sound like anyone was seriously injured and as per Radio-Canada no formal complaints were filed in spite of all the chaos that ensued.
