The National Hockey League Trade Deadline is quickly approaching, and once again, the Boston Bruins are said to be active. There has been rampant speculation surrounding the status of forward Jake DeBrusk, who is playing in the final year of his contract and admits that the trade rumors have been weighing on his mind.

But once again, there have been rumors surrounding both goaltenders on the Bruins in Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark, the latter of which have really been picking up.  And according to Boston Hockey Now, there could be a market out west for him.

According to the unnamed source, the Los Angeles Kings could be eyeing Ullmark for a potential acquisition rather than try and move forward with the tandem of Cam Talbot and David Rittich.

'“The Kings believe they’re still a contender, and they need a goalie,” an NHL executive source opined to Boston Hockey Now on Saturday night.

The source also named the possibility of the Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers potentially looking to pick up Ulmark.

“There’s a market for him,” the source told BHN. “If I look at the teams out west – the Oilers, the Avalanche, and the Kings – I think the Kings want one the most. I think they really like Ullmark.”

Ullmark, who is in his third season with the Bruins, has a record of 16-7-6 with a 2.80 goals against average and .910 save percentage along with a single shutout.

The NHL Trade Deadline is later this week on Friday afternoon. Will Ullmark still be a member of the Bruins by then?
